Overview: Tucano Palm Jumeirah Dubai has all the elements of a Brazilian churrascaria, with carnival flair. The ground floor presents a casual yet vibrant atmosphere for dining, while the upper level boasts a lively, flamboyant ambience with tempting drinks and a live band for a top night out.
The setting: The 324-seat venue is set over two floors at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah. The main restaurant (churrascaria) is on the ground floor, with the lounge (caipirinha) on the upper level, both with stunning sea views and al fresco seating. A striking feature is a huge, colourful toucan statue, plunging through both floors.
The food: Diners are in for a treat, as they embark on a culinary journey sampling the unique flavours of Pampas Gaúchos, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia and Amazonia. Tucano Restaurant in Dubai serves up the best sourced ingredients such as USDA beef, with decadent marbling which caramelises to perfection when slow cooked, and fresh fruits including caju, graviola and the widely-known açaí berry. Authentic dishes that feature on the menu include Coxinhas (chicken croquettes) and Pão de Queijo (cheese bun).
